Brothers and Sisters
|

Here are a few pictures of my Mom's family that have passed away. They are all together as angels in heaven. I am sure there was quite a reunion as all of them met at the heavenly gate.
All the brothers and sisters their mom and dad and grandparents as well as my father and his mother. My aunt Thelma I Am sure, found her son Ricky and her great grandson Devon. I bet Aunt Claudette
found her babies that she lost in the early years of her marriage. So sad to see them leave this earth.... But I know that they are all together in heaven preparing a place for others.
Aunt Thelma was the eldest of the Girls. She is the daughter of Alex and Caroline Belanger. She was born August 09, 1931, she received her wings on January 18, 2006.
Uncle Donald was the eldest of the boys. He is the son of Alex and Caroline Belanger. He was born October 6, 1932, He received his wings on December 27, 1987.

Uncle Stanley is the seventh child born to our grandparents. He was born January 17, 1939 He received his wings on October 8, 1995.
Uncle Hector is the eighth child born to our grandparents. He was born on May 1, 1940. He received his wings on January 29, 1999.
Aunt Claudette is the ninth child born to our grandparents. She was born on July 21, 1942. She received her wings on February 17, 2002.
What a glorious time in heaven when all my Aunts and Uncles and grandparents got together. They are gone in body, but will remain forever
in all our hearts.
All my Aunts and Uncles left behind families. All of them have grown children, grand children and yes great grand children. They were mothers and fathers,
and memeres' and peperes' (grandma and grandpa in french). Here is a poem written by a very special friend of mine. She has given me permission to use her poem
called Mothers. Please visit her site as she does have more poems that are wonderful to read. Thank you so much Carol for allowing me to use your
beautiful poems. God bless you my friend.
~~MOTHER~~
God gave me a mother
With warmth in her smile.
He said, "I will leave her
With you for a while."
She'll be young and handsome
At least for a day.
Her hair will be dark.
Her laughter be gay.
Her step will be sturdy.
She'll walk straight and tall.
I'll make her touch gentle.
She'll be at your call.
Her arms will uphold you.
Her strength will be yours.
Her love will enfold you.....
In your childhood hours.
But one day the Mother
Will no longer be...
The handsome young woman
The child used to see.
Her face shall grow time worn.
The eyes shall grow dim.
Her strength will start failing.
She's slower of limb.
The strong tender hands
That soothed o'er your brow
Have grown gnarled and crippled.
She's more tired now.
Soon you'll be her comfort.
She'll lean upon you.
Please carry her gently.
She grew old for you.
She wept with your weeping.
She smiled with your smiles.
She guarded you always
Through life with it's trials.
She bore all your burdens.
Was always concerned.
Don't weep when I call her
To rest she has earned.
